India's Pioneers in Digital, Two Decades Before It Was the Obvious Bet

In 2003, almost no Indian agency was built around digital first. ibs fulcro's founder made that bet anyway, and everything since, three names, multiple specialised verticals, and 20-plus years of client relationships, has been built on being early to a shift the rest of the industry eventually followed.

Our story

23 years, three names, one bet on digital

Who We Are Today

ibs fulcro is a digital marketing and technology services agency that works with brands to build campaigns using creativity, technology, and data together, not as separate disciplines handed to separate teams. The agency's consultative practice guides organisations through full digital transformations, keeping every element of a brand's digital strategy pointed at the same measurable business goals.

ibs fulcro operates today as a single, unified organisation built around two core verticals, not the multiple separate disciplines Fulcro launched with in 2018: Digital, which now includes Media, since digital and media planning have converged to the point where treating them as separate disciplines no longer reflects how brands actually work; and Technology, built to the same standard of rigour across every engagement, since modern technology platforms demand that consistency to actually work.

Who We've Built For

Over more than two decades, ibs fulcro has partnered with some of India's largest and most recognisable brands across sectors, including Hero MotoCorp, ASUS, Airtel, Tata Docomo, Pepsi, Kotak Mahindra, Tata Motors, P&G, Croma, ACC Cement, MakeMyTrip, Standard Chartered, HDFC Bank, Renault, SBI, Marico, Bajaj Auto, Tata Strategic Management Group, Bajaj Electricals, Tata Teleservices, Anchor by Panasonic, Morphy Richards, Bajaj Finserv, Aristocrat, GAP, Pearson Education, Kohler, Religare, Vivanta By Taj, and Goodyear, among others. See the full client list.

Built on Relationships, Not Pitches

Roughly 90% of ibs fulcro's clients have come through word of mouth and direct referrals, not competitive pitches. That's a genuinely unusual number for an agency to be able to claim, and it shows up directly in how long clients actually stay: Tata Teleservices has been a client for 20 years, Bajaj Electricals for 19, Kotak Group for 14, and Panasonic for 9. Relationships built to last two decades aren't won on a single pitch deck; they're the result of showing up correctly, project after project, for long enough that a client stops looking elsewhere.

The clearest proof of trust: clients who bring us with them.

Morphy Richards → Samsung → ASUS
One marketing manager first worked with ibs fulcro at Morphy Richards in 2014. When they moved to Samsung in 2016, they made ibs fulcro the agency there too. When they later moved to ASUS, the same thing happened again, over more than 20 years, across three different companies, the same person chose to work with ibs fulcro every time they had the choice to make.
Tata Docomo → Hero MotoCorp → JK Tyre
Another manager first worked with ibs fulcro at Tata Docomo in 2009, appointing the agency as the integrated partner there, then did the same after moving to Hero MotoCorp, and again after moving to JK Tyre.
Kotak Bank → Kotak General Insurance → a large pharmaceutical company
A third worked with ibs fulcro at Kotak Bank, brought the agency in again after moving to Kotak General Insurance, and again after a subsequent move to a large pharmaceutical company.

That pattern, individual decision-makers choosing to re-hire ibs fulcro at three separate companies across their careers, isn't something a pitch deck can win. It's earned, one project at a time.

Would the people who've worked with you bring you to their next company too?

That's the real test. It's the one ibs Fulcro keeps passing. Let's find out what that would take for us to earn with you.

Awards

ibs fulcro is one of India's most awarded digital agencies, with 350+ industry awards in digital and marketing, including 17 Agency of the Year titles. In 2013, it achieved a genuinely rare feat: winning both the Grand Prix at ABBY and the Grand EMVIE at the EMVIES in the same year, something no other agency in India has matched.

The Founder: An Industry Veteran, Not Just a Business Owner

Sabyasachi Mitter, Founder and Managing Director’s standing in the industry goes beyond running ibs fulcro itself. An IIM Calcutta alumnus with a career spanning more than 27 years, over 20 of them as an entrepreneur, he has personally worked with more than 100 marquee brands across industries over the course of that career.

That standing shows up directly in how often the industry has asked him to help judge its own best work. Sabyasachi has served on the jury for IDMA (2017), was appointed Jury Chair of the Technology category at the ABBY One Show Awards (2023), and was named Jury Chairperson for the Digital category at MADDYS (2026), a role he holds today. He is also a frequently quoted voice in Indian advertising and marketing media, cited by outlets including Exchange4media, afaqs!, Adgully, and Mediabrief on subjects ranging from digital transformation and agency strategy to the future of the category itself.

Why This Should Matter to You

None of this, the 20-plus years, the 350-plus awards, the decision-makers who kept choosing us across three separate companies, happens by accident. Enterprises of the highest order have trusted ibs fulcro with their digital presence, their brand launches, and their technology platforms for two decades, and the vast majority of them found us through someone else's recommendation rather than a pitch. That level of sustained, repeat trust from serious, discerning organisations is not something an agency can manufacture. It has to be earned, engagement after engagement, and it has to keep being earned to last this long.

If an agency has held the trust of India's biggest brands for this long, across three names and every shift the industry has gone through since 2003, it's a reasonable bet that we're actually delivering the value behind that trust. The only real way to find out is to try us.
