Inspiration and Vision Behind Our Redesign

A logo is more than just a symbol; it’s the visual identity of a brand, the embodiment of its philosophy, and a statement of what it stands for. As we rebranded to ibs fulcro, it was crucial that our new logo not only paid homage to the rich history of IBS and Fulcro but also marked a clear direction for the future. We wanted to merge the legacy of both predecessors while truly reflecting the new phase of our journey.
At ibs fulcro, our commitment to excellence and innovation needed to be captured in this new logo - one that reflects who we are today as a full-stack digital agency poised for growth.
The design process began by looking back at our old logos, identifying what resonated most, and deciding what to retain as we evolved into ibs fulcro.
Even as we evolved, the typeface from the original ibs logo still felt relevant. Its clean lines, modern curvature, and blue tones exuded approachability and contemporary elegance. This was something we knew had to stay.

The defining element of Fulcro’s identity was the ‘fulcrum’ symbol, a visual metaphor for balance and support. While we wanted to keep it, it needed a facelift to reflect our new direction. The fulcrum had to represent more than stability; it had to capture movement, growth, and innovation.

For the redesign, we collaborated with Kunal Kamble, our in-house art director, who brought fresh energy and creativity to the process. After consultations - some even with a vastu expert - we finalized the color palette that would form the core of our new visual identity.


From its original upward vertical position, we shifted the fulcrum to point upwards and right, symbolizing forward movement and growth.

To ground the design, a rounded rectangle was introduced around the fulcrum. This element provided a sense of cohesion and structure, giving the logo a contemporary framework.

But we didn’t stop there.
While the new iconography was structured, we didn’t want it to feel confined. It had to represent breaking through limitations. That’s when we decided to break the box, opening it up at the top right. This subtle design choice signifies progress, as we are always pushing boundaries and moving forward.
To further emphasize growth, we introduced a trail by duplicating the upward-right-moving arrows. This visual cue signifies continuous progress, a key part of our mission at ibs fulcro.

And that’s how the new ibs fulcro logo came to life - a balance of legacy and innovation, symbolizing who we are today and where we are headed. The updated visual iconography, paired with the timeless typeface, represents our commitment to breaking barriers, moving forward, and growing upward.
