AEO Agency for Automotive and Tyre Brands in India

Car and tyre buyers ask AI engines which model to buy, which tyre suits an SUV and which brand to trust. Automotive brands are named when the question contains their name and are often missing when it does not. ibs Fulcro runs answer engine optimisation to close that gap, and our JK Tyre audit is the evidence.

What our JK Tyre audit found

We scanned JK Tyre across 53,535 generic scans on six AI engines against eight named competitors. The result was a split. JK Tyre was named in 95.6% of responses to branded prompts. On non-branded discovery prompts, the ones a new buyer asks, the rate fell to 17.8%. On those prompts JK Tyre ranked 7th of 9 tracked brands.

The gap was widest on SUV tyres and on car-model prompts. A buyer who asks for the best tyre for a named SUV is shown other brands first. The same pattern applies to any automotive brand that has strong brand-name recall and few pages that answer a buyer's question.

Dealer prompts and model prompts carry the most local and purchase intent. Engines answer them from structured dealer data, owner forums, review sites and comparison articles, so the brand site is only one of the sources.

Why automotive brands lose AI answers

  1. Strong brand recall but few pages that answer an unbranded question. Engines have nothing of the brand's own to quote.
  2. Specification, grade and fitment data sits in PDFs or is rendered by script, so engines cannot read it.
  3. Dealer and service data is incomplete or has no structured markup for each city.
  4. Owner forums, review sites and comparison articles describe the brand, and the brand has not shaped them.
  5. Template errors on the brand site, such as missing schema, broken meta data and weak internal linking, reduce what engines can extract.

Pages that earn mentions

  • A fitment and use guide for each vehicle segment, with a table by model and a direct answer in the first two lines.
  • A comparison page for each major competitor, with price, warranty, rating and use in one table.
  • A cost and life guide with a worked example and the inputs behind it.
  • A dealer locator with structured data for every city and every dealer.
  • A specification page for each product line, in HTML and not in a PDF.
  • An independent test or buyer index that other sites can cite.

What we do for an automotive brand

  1. Build the full prompt universe from search data, forums, reviews and social media, then run it on six engines.
  2. Measure your mention rate and position against named competitors on branded and non-branded prompts.
  3. List the pages the engines cite for each prompt and who owns them.
  4. Rewrite and build the pages above, fix schema and template errors and link them together.
  5. Place the brand on the third-party sources the engines already cite. Placement costs are billed at actual.
  6. Re-run the prompts every month and report position, visibility and traffic.

The method is in our AI citation gap audit. Retainers and terms are on the AEO pricing page. We have no prompt limit and every tier covers all six engines.

How to choose an AEO agency for an automotive brand

Ask the agency for a scan of your brand on non-branded prompts before you sign. Ask which automotive brand it has measured, how many prompts it ran and how many engines it covered. Ask what it reports besides mentions. Our guide to choosing an AEO agency has the full list, and our ranked list of AEO agencies in India shows how we compared the field.
