The Goal

To address these challenges directly, the objective was to implement an integrated customer engagement platform that unified touchpoints into one coherent experience, enhance website content delivery with dynamic personalisation based on location and recency, and streamline customer lifecycle management and marketing campaign execution through direct Eloqua integration.

Architecturally, the plan was to transition to a headless architecture for greater agility and innovation, and deploy edge computing to improve website performance and cut latency across a global user base. On the customer side, the goal was to develop interactive tools that made choosing the right solution simpler, with real transparency and clarity built into the process.

ibs Fulcro's approach centred on next-generation web infrastructure: a JAMstack architecture, using JavaScript, APIs, and markup to build fast, secure websites, powered by Oracle Content & Experience Cloud as a headless CMS, capable of delivering content independent of the presentation layer and supporting multiple front-end frameworks as needed. ReactJS was used for front-end development to build genuinely interactive user interfaces, not static pages retrofitted with scripts.

Development and deployment were run through automated CI/CD pipelines, so testing and release happened continuously rather than in large, risky batches. The finished site was deployed via CDN, distributing content globally with minimal latency, directly solving the centralised-server performance problem the original architecture had created.
